SUMMARY

For Rowland Smart, baseball was his love and passion. After finally taking his game to the next level with his best friend Andrew at his side, Rowland is uprooted from his comfortable surroundings in Woonsocket, RI and forced to move 2,500 miles across the country to Flagstaff, AZ when his father is transferred.

Suddenly, Rowland is leaving everything and everyone that he ever knew. Being an outsider, baseball becomes the bridge from one coast to the next. Through America's past-time and Rowland's ultimate passion, he begins to meet friends.

However, while he was on the top of the world on the East Coast he must now start his climb back up the ladder on the West Coast.

Join Rowland and his cat Mickey as they try to return to baseball stardom in the land of the sun.
